OCEAN ALLIANCE is one of the most ambitious operational agreements ever made in the shipping industry. CMA CGM, Cosco, Evergreen and OOCL officially launched the recomposition of alliances in the regular shipping line sector. The four ship-owners signed an agreement to form "Ocean Alliance", the largest partnership of its kind on the East-West routes.

By offering more ports, more direct stopovers and better transit times, ship owners are now able to offer their customers an unsurpassed quality of service.

In the Northern Europe - South East Asia route, the route is followed by 66 ships and 81 weekly stops, making the Ocean Alliance Europe - Ocean Europe trade the strongest offer on the market. The FAL1 route (French Asia Line) included Dunkirk among the ports.

With more than 40 maritime services and 323 ships, OCEAN ALLIANCE is the largest operational agreement ever concluded between maritime groups. It offers 17 services in Asia - North Europe, Asia - Mediterranean, Asia - Red Sea, and Asia - Middle East markets, as well as 23 services in North American markets, making it the best alliance on Trans - Pacific. The CMA CGM Group will benefit from the largest market share with this agreement with 119 vessels deployed, among the most efficient in their respective markets.
