December 2018: wharf extension works

Extension works of “the Quay of Flandres”, started in February are continuing. From 2019, Terminal des Flandres will be able to receive simultaneously 2 Megamax Container ships of the latest generation. Once the works finished, the wharf will present a total linear of 1800 meters, which represent an extension of the actual quay of 500 meters. These works are part of a strategy to reclaim the Hinterland of Hauts de France region.
