The Terminal des Flandres is in conformity with the flagship standard governing environmental management systems, ISO 14001:2015. Improvement of environmental performance, integration of external stakeholders, prioritization of risks, definition of the stakes ... First standard in environmental management, which emerged in 1996, the ISO 14001:2015 is particularly appreciated for its operational aspect. It is now used by more than 250,000 certified users in 155 countries

With regards to Safety and Occupational Health at Work, ISO 45001:2018

The ISO 45001:2018 norm specifies the method of setting up occupational health and safety management and the requirements it needs. The objective is to achieve better risk management in order to reduce the number of accidents, complying with legislation and improving performance.

The Terminal des Flandres is AOE certified. AEO status is a certification which is issued by the Customs. It allows the customs services to identify “reliable” companies and thus gives them particular handling for checks. The main objective is therefore to make exchanges safer and simpler. It is a sort of "customs simplification" certification
